Spock's Beard - Snow

Spock's Beard - Snow

Not since the Genesis "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" has a singer left a band in such fine fashion, with a double disc concept album. "Snow" was the last album from Spock's Beard to feature the bands primary writer and vocalist Neal Morse (a man that can do no wrong, musically, in my book).

The story tells of an albino man that can touch others, and see the future, no matter how bleak those futures may be. The music on the album is all prog, and a beautifully crafted piece of magnificence.

This has long been a favorite album of mine, and one that I go back to quite often. One day, I hope that the band will reunite to perform this masterpiece front to back... ahh the dreams of a prog fanatic.

Favorite 3 Tracks:
"Solitary Soul", "Wind At My Back", "Made Alive Again / Wind At My Back"
