Ian Anderson - Thick As A Brick - Live In Iceland
Finally, here it is, the classic Prog Rock masterpiece, "Thick As A Brick" live and in full. Beware though, this is definitely not the 1972 Jethro Tull tearing through this amazing album, but instead band leader Ian Anderson, and a group of very talented musicians backing him up. I do admit that I would prefer to get Jethro Tull doing the album on the '72 tour in an official release, but this really is the next best thing in my opinion.
Though Ian has some obvious troubles singing the older song, he really shines on the sick to "Thick As A Brick". With the help of a background vocalist, the band do these albums beautiful justice, and are not to be missed! Some of the best prog moments of all time can be found on these two discs. And the sequel is one of my favorite albums, and is a great companion piece to the original.
